ANNOUNCEMENT

Since its inception in 2011, the York Wilson Foundation for the Visual Arts has been actively donating artworks by Canadian artist York Wilson to Canadian based art, community, and education oriented charitable organizations. Our main objectives have been to help preserve and promote York Wilson’s artistic legacy and to ensure his artwork is accessible and visible in different regions of Canada. Through a diverse range of donation recipients we hope to encourage scholarly research, potential collection/exhibit collaboration, and ongoing public interest/enjoyment in his artwork and contribution to Canadian Art history. We are pleased to announce that through this initiative, over 600 artworks by York Wilson have been donated to date.
